Las Vegas may be known for its casinos and crazy night life, but what many don’t realise is that it’s home to exciting, affordable, and unique activities that are perfect for the entire family. Check out below our favorite 16 experiences that everyone can enjoy while in Las Vegas.

1. Check out Container Park

Container Park

Built from repurposed shipping containers, Container Park is a one-stop-shop for food, fun, and shopping – but the main attraction is the ‘fun for any age’ Cre8Play children’s park. Boasting everything from a giant container treehouse, a mind-bending treasure hunt, oversize Lego blocks, and plenty of live entertainment that both children and adults will appreciate, you can spend all day burning lots of energy on the cheap! To get the most out of Container Park, we recommend heading there in the late morning to enjoy all the activities before taking a break for lunch.

2. Take a tour to Red Rock Canyon

Red Rock Canyon

It’s easy to think of bright lights and entertainment when planning a visit to Las Vegas, but just 25 miles from the Las Vegas Strip you’ll trade in the noise for awe-inspiring rock formations and endless golden orange vistas. Pack your water bottle, sunscreen, and plenty of snacks, and enjoy one of the 26 hikes on offer. Well-marked and easy to navigate, Red Rock Canyon walks are a perfect introduction to the stunning landscapes the region has in store. Be sure to start your day early to get the most out of your day out of the city.

Just a 30-minute drive from the Las Vegas Strip, head out bright and earlier in the morning to beat the heat and the crowds. Adults and kids alike will marvel at the 726ft wall of concrete holding back Lake Mead.
